In der neuesten Ausgabe von 'National Geographic Traveler' befindet sich eine große Reportage über das Douro-Tal - "a self-guided hiking tour through the Douro Valley wine district in Portugal". Leider ist der komplette Bericht nicht online, aber es gibt eine Bilderschau mit Aufnahmen von dem Fotografen Michael Melford.
Mir gefällt besonders Bild Nr. 7, aufgenommen im Garten der Quinta do Visconde de Chanceleiros, wo ich auch im Oktober 2007 war und das gleiche Motiv fotografiert habe:

Zu dem Foto schreibt der Autor des Artikels, Rachel Howard, "At Chanceleiros, it was easy to shut out the rest of the world." Dem kann ich nur voll zustimmen....saudades.
